What is this role?

We are looking for a mid-level Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote position, though we are currently focusing our search on candidates located within US and EU time zones. You will play a vital role in protecting our users by identifying risks and integrating security best practices directly into our development lifecycle.

What will you do?

• You will proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across our systems and code through manual reviews, threat modeling, and automated tooling.
• You will take ownership of our application security processes, including configuring security tools and managing our response to incoming bug bounty submissions.
• You will partner closely with our engineering teams to promote secure coding standards and participate directly in incident response and management activities.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in offensive security, ideally with a focus on blockchain technology. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses the following qualities:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, specifically regarding code review and identifying application security threats.
• A deep understanding of security risks in both web and mobile applications, along with the ability to write proofs of concept to demonstrate vulnerabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security findings clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Fluency in English to ensure effective collaboration across our global team.
