What you bring

As a Senior Security Engineer Specialist, you will join our Android Security Operations team to serve as a primary line of defense against harmful applications. This full-time, on-site role in India requires a deep technical background in security research and reverse engineering. You will work alongside software and security engineers to protect the Android ecosystem through the following responsibilities:

• Reverse engineer Android applications, system binaries, and native libraries using tools like IDA Pro and Ghidra.
• Develop automated detection systems and investigate malware techniques to identify abusive or unwanted software.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring analysts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to update security policies and improve the user experience.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or possess equivalent practical experience. We are looking for candidates with at least four years of experience in security research or malware detection. You must be comfortable reading assembly and unpacking obfuscated code. Proficiency with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Burp is essential. Because you will be presenting your findings to various stakeholders, you must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and draft high-quality white papers. A strong candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of setting technical direction for a growing team.
