Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Trust and Security group. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere in the United States or from our Seattle office. You will play a vital role in ensuring our cloud services and connected devices remain the most trusted platforms in the public safety market.
Your impact
- Partner with our sales and engineering teams to provide security assurance, complete RFPs, and ensure our security commitments are effectively implemented across products.
- Lead and coordinate security assessments, remediation activities, and periodic compliance audits such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
- Develop and manage security compliance tools while creating essential documentation, policies, and white papers for both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience in information security or compliance, such as working as an auditor or security analyst.
- A strong background in cloud security controls and a solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks like NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous situations.
- Proficiency in English.
- A willingness to undergo necessary background checks and personnel security requirements.
Perks and compensation
The base salary for this role ranges from USD 96,000 to USD 185,000, depending on your geographic market, experience, and skills. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package:
