The role
We are looking for a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Trust and Security team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, requiring occasional onsite presence at our Seattle office. As a senior member of the team, you will play a vital role in upholding our security commitments and ensuring our cloud services remain the most trusted platform for the public safety market.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with our sales teams to provide security assurance to customers, which includes managing RFPs and addressing security-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with engineering and product departments to ensure that security requirements are effectively integrated into our development processes.
- Manage and execute security compliance programs, including conducting assessments and remediation activities for frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and a passion for cloud-based compliance. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in information security, auditing, or compliance engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud security controls and the implementation of security requirements within cloud environments.
- Practical knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks, including NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security policies into actionable business objectives.
- A high level of comfort working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Compensation and benefits
