The role
We are seeking a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Trust and Security group on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, requiring occasional onsite presence at our Seattle office. You will be a key player in our information security team, ensuring our cloud services meet the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to provide security assurance, complete RFPs, and ensure our security commitments are effectively implemented.
- Lead and participate in security assessments, including ISO 27001, SOC2, and NIST 800-53 audits, while managing necessary remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain internal security policies, compliance tools, and documentation to support our overall program effectiveness.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and a passion for cloud technology. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in information security or compliance, such as working as an auditor or security analyst.
- Solid understanding of cloud security controls and experience implementing compliance requirements within cloud environments.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- A working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals.
Compensation and benefits
