The role
We are looking for a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Trust and Security group. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United States. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our cloud services and connected devices remain the most trusted platforms in the public safety market. You will work closely with our engineering, legal, and product teams to uphold our security commitments and drive our compliance programs forward.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with our sales teams to provide security assurance to customers, which includes completing RFPs and addressing security-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with engineering and product departments to ensure that security requirements are effectively implemented across our cloud environments.
- Manage and execute security compliance tools and assessments, including work related to ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53, to maintain program effectiveness.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and cloud computing. We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in an information security or compliance-focused role, such as a security analyst or auditor.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud security controls and a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to translate complex security policies into actionable business objectives.
- A high level of comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
