We are looking for a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Trust and Security group, where you will help ensure our platforms remain the most trusted solutions for the public safety market.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide security assurance, including the completion of RFPs and responses to security inquiries.
- Coordinate and manage security assessments, remediation efforts, and periodic compliance activities such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure security commitments are effectively integrated into our technology.
- Develop and execute security compliance tools to maintain program effectiveness and adherence to established standards.
- Author internal and customer-facing documentation, including white papers and security policies.
- Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Stay informed on regulatory shifts, emerging attack techniques, and industry trends to keep our security posture ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in information security or compliance, such as working as a security analyst, auditor, or compliance engineer.
- Strong background in cloud security controls and the implementation of compliance requirements within cloud environments.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to balance risks in complex situations.
- Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and personnel security screenings.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Relevant information security certifications.
- Prior experience interacting directly with external customers and stakeholders.
- Experience working with FedRAMP or the CJIS Security Policy.
- Direct experience within an ISO 27001 compliant program.
- A deep understanding of cloud computing technologies.
Compensation
The starting base pay for this position ranges from USD 96,000 to USD 185,000, depending on factors such as your experience, geographic market, and specific skill set. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
