As a Security Compliance Engineer working in a full-time capacity, you will join our Trust and Security group to help ensure our cloud services remain the most trusted platforms in the public safety market. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will take ownership of security assurance activities and drive meaningful change within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our sales teams to provide security assurance, which includes completing RFPs and addressing customer security inquiries.
- Coordinate and participate in various security assessments while managing the resulting remediation activities.
- Partner closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure that all security commitments are effectively implemented across our platforms.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and a passion for cloud technology. We look for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in information security or compliance, such as working as a security analyst, auditor, or compliance engineer.
- A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and cloud security controls.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and personnel security screenings.
