The opportunity
As a Senior Security Compliance Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Trust and Security group. Our goal is to ensure that our cloud services and connected devices remain the most trusted platforms in the public safety market. You will be instrumental in upholding our security commitments, working at the cutting edge of cloud computing to solve complex regulatory and security challenges. This is a full-time, hybrid position that allows you to make a tangible impact on how law enforcement utilizes technology.
A day in the life
- You will partner with our sales teams to provide security assurance to customers, which includes completing RFPs and addressing specific security inquiries.
- You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that our security commitments are effectively implemented across our platforms.
- You will manage and execute security compliance programs, including participating in assessments for ISO 27001 and SOC2, while driving necessary remediation efforts.
Who you are
You are a motivated, high-energy professional who thrives in complex and fast-paced environments. You possess a strong background in information security and are comfortable navigating the nuances of cloud security controls. You communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers, and you have a proven ability to balance risk with business objectives.
Your qualifications include:
- At least 4 years of experience in an information security or compliance role.
- Strong project management skills and a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard practices such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- Fluency in English.
- A willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
