About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be a vital part of our Trust and Security group, helping to ensure our cloud services and devices remain the most trusted platforms in the public safety market. You will drive our security assurance and compliance initiatives, working closely with engineering, product, and sales teams to uphold our high standards for security.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and participate in security assessments while managing remediation efforts to maintain our compliance posture.
- Partner with our sales teams to provide security assurance to customers, which includes completing RFPs and addressing security-related inquiries.
- Develop and execute security compliance tools to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with standards like ISO 27001, SOC2, and NIST 800-53.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in security and a passion for innovation. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in an information security or compliance-focused role, such as an auditor, security analyst, or compliance engineer.
- A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and cloud security controls.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the Cloud Security Alliance CCM.
- The ability to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment while balancing competing risks.
Location
This position is available as a hybrid role. You may work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with the expectation that you can be onsite at our Seattle, Washington office 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting base pay for this position ranges from USD 96,000 to USD 185,000, depending on your geographic market, experience, and specific skills. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being, including:
