Thesis Defense serves as the dedicated auditing arm of Thesis, Inc., the venture studio behind notable projects like tBTC, Fold, Taho, Etcher, and Embody. The role
We are looking for 3 to 4 mid-level Security Auditors to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a vital position for professionals who possess a deep understanding of decentralized systems and want to play a key role in protecting the integrity of the web3 landscape. You will be responsible for evaluating complex protocols and providing actionable insights that directly impact the security posture of our clients.
Core responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security audits on a wide range of technologies, including smart contracts, dApps, and cryptographic protocols, to uncover potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security best practices and ensure that identified risks are mitigated effectively.
- Produce detailed, high-quality audit reports that clearly document findings and provide specific, actionable recommendations for improvement.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid foundation in security auditing and a passion for decentralized technology. We require the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in security auditing with a strong grasp of blockchain technology and smart contract logic.
- Technical proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages, such as Solidity, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
- The ability to analyze complex source code, understand intricate business logic, and formulate sophisticated attack vectors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical security findings into clear advice for diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to staying current with emerging threats in the crypto ecosystem.
- Prior experience working effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
