The role
We are seeking a Senior Security Application Engineer III to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a high-impact position for an experienced professional who will take ownership of our security posture. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure, ensuring that our applications remain resilient as we continue to innovate within the sports technology industry.
Core responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability testing across our suite of web and mobile applications.
- Partner closely with our development teams to embed security best practices and secure coding principles into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and remediate security threats while developing internal tools and processes to strengthen our overall application security.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in application security and a commitment to protecting user data. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in application security, covering both web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency with industry-standard testing tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP.
- Deep familiarity with security frameworks and standards, including SOC2, NIST, and ISO.
- A solid understanding of cloud security practices and authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, and SAML.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate team members on emerging threats and secure coding practices.
Compensation and benefits
