About the Role

This is a full-time, remote position for a Senior level SecOps Specialist. You will play a vital role in safeguarding our systems by designing security procedures, managing infrastructure vulnerabilities, and collaborating with our DevOps team to ensure our environment remains resilient against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate effective incident response procedures to handle security events as they arise.
• Harden Linux servers and optimize firewall configurations to enforce the highest standards of server protection.
• Enhance our AWS infrastructure security by configuring monitoring for CloudTrail and CloudWatch, while utilizing Amazon Inspector for proactive threat detection.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions specifically for cloud-based infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud security and the ability to harden Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems, particularly Wazuh, including the ability to fine-tune detection rules and manage alerts.
• A strong background in developing incident response plans and securing web API applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a self-motivated approach to taking ownership of security tasks.

Location

This position is fully remote and is open to candidates located anywhere, provided you are able to work within the EU timezone.
