Baselane is a rapidly growing financial management and banking platform designed specifically for real estate investors and individual landlords. We are backed by prominent FinTech investors and a team with deep roots in major financial and technology firms. Our mission is to provide the 12 million individual landlords in the United States with the financial visibility and tools they need to grow their portfolios. We are currently looking for a Senior Search Engine Optimization Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in either our New York City or Toronto offices.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that drives organic growth and improves our search engine rankings.
Manage our SEO roadmap by identifying and prioritizing technical, content, and UX projects that expand our organic audience.
Collaborate with our content team and external agencies to optimize website architecture, conduct keyword research, and implement scalable link-building campaigns.

Requirements

At least 4 years of professional experience in developing and implementing successful SEO strategies.
Technical proficiency with industry-standard tools, including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog.
Hands-on experience with WordPress and the ability to analyze data using BI tools like Looker or Sigma.
A strong understanding of search engine algorithms, current SEO best practices, and the application of AI tools in modern content marketing.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Availability to work from our Toronto or New York City offices on a hybrid schedule.
