About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will serve as a coach and servant leader, ensuring that our scaled Agile methodology is executed effectively. You will guide teams through the Scrum process, foster a collaborative culture, and help us achieve our project goals while maintaining high standards of productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the end-to-end Agile process for multiple concurrent projects, including managing all ceremonies and reporting requirements.
- Protect the team from competing priorities by ensuring all work is clearly accounted for in the backlog and aligned with established scope, timing, and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying impediments, managing interdependencies across teams, and providing expert guidance on Agile best practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master within an IT environment, specifically managing multiple concurrent projects.
- In-depth proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate and present complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- A recognized Agile certification is considered a definite asset.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
