Scrum Master Technical Project Manager at Hanna Andersson

Hanna Andersson is a premier children’s clothing brand based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to creating high-quality, sustainable apparel that lets kids be kids. We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master and Technical Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity to help us facilitate Agile practices and drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the development team by identifying and removing obstacles while fostering a self-organizing, collaborative environment.
• Partner with the Product Owner to groom and prioritize the product backlog.
• Maintain transparency by tracking progress and communicating project status to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring performance metrics and implementing process refinements.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Provide coaching on Agile principles and mentor team members to improve their skills.
• Assist with project planning, timeline creation, and dependency tracking to ensure successful delivery.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment.
• Proven success in facilitating cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.
• Intermediate proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet for creating timelines and Gantt charts.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate ambiguity in a changing environment.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
