Hanna Andersson is a premier children’s clothing brand based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to creating high-quality, sustainable apparel that lets kids be kids. We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master and Technical Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity to help us facilitate Agile practices and drive successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support the development team by identifying and removing obstacles while fostering a self-organizing, collaborative environment.
- Partner with the Product Owner to groom and prioritize the product backlog.
- Maintain transparency by tracking progress and communicating project status to stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring performance metrics and implementing process refinements.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Provide coaching on Agile principles and mentor team members to improve their skills.
- Assist with project planning, timeline creation, and dependency tracking to ensure successful delivery.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment.
- Proven success in facilitating cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.
- Intermediate proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet for creating timelines and Gantt charts.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate ambiguity in a changing environment.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
