SAP BI BODS Engineer at Kioxia

What is this role?

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States. We are looking for a senior-level engineer who can bridge the gap between complex data systems and actionable business insights. You will be a key player in our IT department, focusing on the development and maintenance of our SAP BI and BODS infrastructure.

What will you do?

• You will design and develop robust SAP BI universes and reports while building efficient BODS jobs to streamline our data processes.
• You will take charge of the full systems development life cycle by analyzing business requirements, creating technical project proposals, and presenting your findings to IT management.
• You will ensure our systems remain secure and compliant by coordinating all IT audit requirements and working directly with auditors to facilitate their requests.

To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and multi-dimensional modeling. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in the following areas:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services and Business Object Designer.
• Database Skills: Strong command of SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, views, and stored procedures within Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Business Context: A solid grasp of Oracle EBS modules, such as general ledger, inventory, and order management, which will help you align technical solutions with our specific business needs.
• Communication: You should be fluent in English and capable of translating technical ideas into clear, actionable strategies for our team.
