TailorCare is on a mission to transform specialty care by using evidence-based data to guide patients through the most effective treatment pathways for joint, back, and muscle conditions. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our collaborative, fast-paced team as we scale our platform and improve the lives of patients everywhere.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to deployment, testing, and long-term maintenance.
- Collaborate with product management, UX design, and clinical operations to turn complex requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Drive technical decision-making and help shape the overall architecture of our internal tools and patient-facing applications.
- Mentor other engineers on the team to foster high-quality code and professional growth.
- Work across a diverse technical stack, including Salesforce integrations, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience within an agile environment.
- Deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or server-side JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong experience with AWS services and serverless architecture.
- Solid understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and application state management.
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience working in the healthcare industry or within a high-growth startup environment.
- Background in Data Science or Machine Learning.
