We are Blacksmith, a boutique web development agency, and we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Data Engineer to join our team. We operate as a remote-first company, and we need your expertise to help us refine our internal go-to-market operations. This role is a unique blend of Salesforce administration and ETL development, and it is perfect for someone who enjoys diving deep into data architecture to ensure our systems remain clean and actionable as we continue to grow.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage the ingestion of lead data from various sources, including APIs, web forms, and third-party partners, directly into Salesforce.
- You will oversee the standardization and validation of incoming data, ensuring it is mapped correctly and deduplicated to maintain high data integrity.
- You will troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize our Salesforce architecture, utilizing tools like Zapier and Make to keep our systems perfectly synced.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience working within Salesforce and a strong background in data engineering. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and possesses the following skills:
- Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data ingestion, and CRM management.
- Proven experience in attribution tracking and data validation.
- Technical proficiency with automation platforms such as Zapier and Make.
- A track record of managing large datasets and maintaining CRM health at scale.
- The ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams to support their operational needs.
