The role:

Vow will (soon) be launching in our home turf in Australia and New Zealand with our first brand Forged, and we’re looking for the gun who will get an entirely new category of food on hundreds of menus nationwide

As our first Sales Manager for ANZ, you’ll get to introduce our revolutionary new meat products to new partners right here. Having served over 10,000 dishes and counting in Singapore with customers drooling at the taste of our food, you’ll get to bring the same to Australia & New Zealand, expanding our footprint across the region. You’ll lead our business development and partnerships across a range of channels large and small so that consumers can buy and enjoy Forged across hundreds of access points - everything from your neighborhood deli shop, to hatted restaurants, to national hotel chains, caterers, meal kit services, airlines, and retailers. 

You’ll take responsibility for representing Forged to all new partners, generating new leads, converting sizable accounts with immense speed, and leveraging our suite of new food products (or suggest those not yet in existence yet) to deliver value to our prospective or existing customers. You’ll come up with fresh ways we can partner with chefs to launch at their restaurants in order to get Forged on their menu.

The experience/skills you will bring:

  • Highly results oriented, with a track record of scaling a business across a region through sales and account management.
  • A master negotiator, deeply understanding our customers needs and wants to turn a naysayer into a loyalist.
  • You’re an effective communicator with the charisma, passion, and eloquence required to effectively pitch not just a new product, but an entirely new category of food.
  • You’re well connected and a natural networker, with strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers across the Food & Beverage industry.
  • You operate with hustle, speed, and a high degree of ownership, willing to do what it takes to get the job done. 
  • Creativity and proactiveness to come up with out-of-the-box solutions for partnerships. 
  • Experience in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry is a plus!  

You will:

  • Be the first in the world to build an impressive pipeline of demand in Australia and New Zealand for cultured meat in food service and retail accounts to serve Forged. 
  • Land partnerships & agreements across a range of channel types to increase Forged’s distribution and purchase points.
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to close with our products on-menu
  • Manage customer relationships and success, ensuring accounts are excited, engaged, and continuously ordering. 
  • Build sales forecasts and identify opportunities to drive meaningful revenue & volume growth to hit our targets
  • Continuously shop new product opportunities to customers, delivering an ongoing feedback loop to our marketing and product development teams to create compelling & relevant new products 
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders across product and manufacturing to help Vow accurately manage demand forecasts and  ramp-up supply effectively.

What success looks like:

  • Within 3 months: You have built a strong understanding of Vow's products, brand, and target markets. You’ve identified and initiated contact with key potential partners, creating a pipeline of promising leads across diverse channels such as restaurants, retailers, and airlines. You’ve successfully closed initial deals and placed Forged on menus or shelves in 15 venues.
  • Within 6 months: You’ve established a robust sales strategy tailored to the ANZ market, securing agreements with larger accounts and expanding Forged’s presence to 50-100 venues. You’ve developed close relationships with our partners and implemented strategies that have kept Forged continuously served on menu. You’re leveraging feedback to refine product offerings and pitch strategies, and your work has contributed to measurable revenue growth and strong brand visibility.
  • Within 12 months: Forged is a recognised and in-demand product across ANZ, available in a variety of access points, from local delis to national chains. You’ve exceeded sales targets and built partnerships whose volumes are sustained and growing over time. Your insights and customer feedback have shaped product development and operational planning, and you’ve established Vow as a trusted and innovative partner in the food and beverage industry.
