At ONI, we are dedicated to accelerating scientific discovery and fighting disease by helping researchers visualize and understand the microscopic details of life. Our Nanoimager technology is at the cutting edge of cellular studies, and we are looking for a passionate Senior Sales Executive to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position based in Germany, specifically for candidates located in Frankfurt, Berlin, or Munich.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across the European region.
  • Identify potential customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors using tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Manage the full sales funnel, from converting marketing leads to closing deals for capital equipment, consumables, and service contracts.
  • Collaborate with our Field Application Team to coordinate successful product demonstrations.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies while providing actionable market feedback to our internal leadership, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions, opportunities, and market insights within our CRM to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events and support broader marketing initiatives to increase product awareness.

Must-haves

  • A Master’s degree or PhD in a life science discipline, combined with at least five years of experience in life science sales.
  • A proven track record of successfully pitching and closing sales of scientific capital equipment valued at over €150,000.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets over multiple cycles.
  • Experience monitoring tender portals and conducting on-site visits to build commercial relationships.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex, scientifically-led solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the capital equipment sales process.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, specifically Salesforce, for forecasting and data management.
  • Fluency in English.
