We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Menlo Security, our mission is to enable organizations to communicate and collaborate securely without compromise. We currently support a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, the Department of Defense, and nine of the ten largest global banks. As we grow from a team of 400 toward our next chapter, we are seeking passionate individuals who are empathetic, agile, and ethical. You will act as a technical consultant, guiding prospective and current customers while collaborating with our sales and partner teams to develop robust security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the benefits of our security solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while researching specific requirements to architect tailored solutions.
  • Lead Proof of Concept engagements, which includes managing deployments, configuring services, training users, and bridging the gap between sales and technical staff to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate closely with regional partners to drive partner-led opportunities and assist customers in expanding their implementation of our products.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of pre-sales experience within the networking or security sectors.
  • Deep technical knowledge across several domains, including web proxy technologies, malware analysis, network forensics, email security, and incident response.
  • Strong proficiency in network engineering, enterprise architecture, and virtualization technologies like VMware and Citrix.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions and technical advantages to senior stakeholders.
  • A disciplined, leadership-oriented approach to project management and the ability to travel overnight within the region as needed.
