The role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in the United States. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to support our growth as we scale our systems. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our technical engineering teams and our industrial partners, ensuring that we deliver high-value, innovative solutions to our customers.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with our engineering team to manage projects from the initial contracting phase through to completion, while nurturing long-term relationships with customer sites.
- Translate complex customer specifications into actionable design requirements for our internal engineering and R&D teams.
- Work alongside business development and engineering staff to calculate and present clear value propositions for prospective and current customer projects.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting, such as chemical manufacturing, oil and gas refining, or pulp and paper, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like engineering or the sciences.
- Strong technical communication skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- An ability to work in an informally structured, cross-functional environment.
- A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with the flexibility to work occasional nights or weekends as project needs arise.
- Current U.S. work authorization.
- While not required, previous experience in sales or project management is highly valued.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Disability and life insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Flexible paid time off and paid company holidays.
- 12 weeks of paid family leave.
- Free access to our brand new on-site fitness center.
- Equity options.

We believe the best candidate for this role might come from a non-traditional background. If you are passionate about our mission and have a mix of skills and experience that aligns with our goals, we encourage you to apply. We value diversity of thought and experience, and we welcome all qualified applicants to reach out and share how your unique perspective can help us move our mission forward.
