The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our technical capabilities and our customers' business goals. You will work closely with our sales team to demonstrate the value of our platform, ensuring that every prospect understands how Instruqt can solve their unique challenges. By combining your deep technical expertise with a consultative approach, you will play a vital role in our growth and help our customers succeed in their own technical journeys.
A day in the life
- You will lead the technical sales process by partnering with Account Executives to navigate complex enterprise cycles and close new business.
- You will facilitate detailed proof of value engagements and run technical demos that highlight how our platform aligns with specific customer needs.
- You will resolve high-level technical challenges for our users while creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and instructional videos to support our community.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in technical sales or engineering. You thrive in environments that require continuous learning and you are comfortable communicating with everyone from software engineers to C-suite executives. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following skills to the table:
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and Shell.
- Strong background in Linux administration and fundamental networking principles.
- A genuine passion for automation and streamlining manual processes.
- Hands-on experience with containerized applications like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- A firm grasp of value-based selling frameworks.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
