The opportunity
We are looking for a Participation Specialist, also known as a Sales Development Representative, to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our mission and the organizations that can benefit from our platform. You will research and qualify prospective companies, helping them understand how our Top Workplaces program can elevate their culture. By working closely with our Account Executives, you will manage relationships from the initial outreach through the successful onboarding of new participants, ensuring every company has a seamless experience as they begin their journey with us.
A day in the life
- You will conduct deep research into potential accounts to create strategic outreach plans that turn cold leads into active participants.
- You will craft and deliver tailored presentations that highlight the specific value of our software, engaging directly with executives to address their unique business challenges.
- You will guide new participants through the registration process and monitor their progress, proactively solving any issues to ensure they get the most out of our platform.
Who you are
You are a motivated professional with at least one year of experience in B2B, software, or technology sales. You have a proven track record of hitting your goals and a genuine curiosity about how technology can solve real-world business problems. You thrive in environments where you can work autonomously while still being a collaborative team player. Because this role involves high-level communication and negotiation, you are comfortable speaking with executives and possess the research skills necessary to create personalized, persuasive outreach plans. Please note that for this remote position, we are currently seeking candidates located within the Eastern time zone of the United States, excluding California, Massachusetts, New York City, and Washington.
