At Virtuous, we are on a mission to inspire global generosity by helping nonprofits build stronger relationships with their donors. We provide a modern software platform that equips mid-sized charities with elegant tools for fundraising, marketing, volunteerism, and online giving. Our team is driven to disrupt the status quo in the nonprofit sector, and we are looking for a dedicated Sales Development Representative to join us in this effort. Key outcomes
- Manage a named account list by engaging with multiple departments within target organizations to generate a robust sales pipeline.
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach using creative strategies across email, phone, and video channels.
- Facilitate qualifying calls and conduct ROI evaluations with key decision-makers to ensure a seamless handoff to our Account Executives.
- Maintain high data integrity within our HubSpot CRM by documenting interactions, managing tasks, and tracking the sales process accurately.
- Partner with the marketing team to design and implement individualized outreach plays and support field marketing activities, including attendance at trade shows and conferences.
- Consistently meet quarterly quotas and activity goals, such as weekly call and email targets, through a proactive and organized approach.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within or serving the nonprofit sector.
- Strong familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms, including an understanding of technical donor or customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with new contacts.
- A results-oriented mindset with proven performance in deadline-driven environments.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills, combined with a coachable and curious attitude.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work on-site in the United States.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working within the B2B technology industry.
- A deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, specifically regarding fundraising and donor management.
