Sophos is looking for a Sales Development Representative, Spain

We are Sophos, a global leader in cybersecurity that protects over 500,000 organizations and 100 million users from active threats like ransomware and phishing. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team on a full-time basis in Spain. In this remote role, you will help drive our growth by converting inbound marketing leads and proactively prospecting for new business opportunities across our comprehensive portfolio of security products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators, specifically focusing on outbound activity levels, the number of qualified opportunities delivered to our sales teams, and the total value of the new pipeline generated.
  • Convert marketing-qualified leads into high-quality sales opportunities while effectively engaging with key decision-makers.
  • Create new business prospects by utilizing market intelligence and productivity tools, such as our CRM and Outreach, to deliver value-based messaging and resolve potential objections.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a background in a commercial sales environment and have experience with outbound lead generation. We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our partners and prospects in the region. You should demonstrate strong active listening skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to articulate a clear value proposition. We value individuals who are fast learners, comfortable working under pressure, and capable of maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude while navigating complex business environments.
