What you'll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our core SaaS offerings.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to architect robust RESTful APIs that ensure seamless integration and communication across our platform.
- Optimize database performance and security by implementing efficient data structures, conducting thorough testing, and addressing system bottlenecks.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in backend engineering and a passion for open-source technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a backend developer, specifically within a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- A solid understanding of RESTful API design, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
- Experience with secure software development lifecycles, machine learning, and anomaly detection.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of work experience.
- Fluency in English and a global mindset that allows you to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.
