We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Arab Emirates. Our development team builds and maintains robust web applications using test-driven practices, and we value collaborative problem solving, thoughtful design, and high-quality code. You will work closely with designers, frontend developers, stakeholders, and clients to translate business goals into reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, and deliver successful end products.
- Support feature launches and partner with operations and marketing teams to resolve issues as they arise.
- Translate requirements, designs, and wireframes into high-quality code while assisting with project scoping, estimation, and planning.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong commitment to test-driven development and continuous learning.
- Proven ability to participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other knowledge-sharing activities.
- Experience evaluating third-party enterprise applications and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Skill in documenting and designing development standards.
- Proficiency in English for effective team and stakeholder communication.
