What you bring

We are seeking a Senior RTS Software Engineer to join us on a full-time basis at our location in Germany. In this role, you will focus on the non-functional aspects of our platform, ensuring that our infrastructure remains stable and efficient. Your work will involve deep technical analysis and collaboration across various departments.

• You will take ownership of the non-functional user experience, specifically focusing on performance, availability, and scalability.
• You will develop new Java components while simultaneously tuning existing code, working all the way down to JVM internals and operating system levels.
• You will act as a quality gateway for production releases, collaborating with software developers, system administrators, and our QA team to ensure performance budgets are met.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong command of Java and a deep understanding of the JVM. We value candidates who are naturally curious about system performance and scalability. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment where quality assurance is a top priority. Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with our international team.
