Perrone Robotics is a pioneer in the autonomous vehicle industry, known for developing TONY, a vehicle-independent retrofit kit that provides full autonomous capabilities. With over 37,000 miles of travel and experience across 30 different vehicle types, we are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia, and help us advance the future of transportation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of complex electronic and mechanical systems into various vehicle platforms.
- Drive the technical execution of our hardware development roadmap.
- Collaborate directly with technicians to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Design and develop next-generation electronic and mechanical components.
- Oversee and manage comprehensive engineering requirements to ensure system quality.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience in robotics and autonomous systems.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering and hardware development.
- Proven ability to manage engineering projects and system-level design.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work on-site in our Charlottesville office.
