What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Risk Developer to join our team on a full-time basis at our United States location. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between complex mathematical models and high-performance technical execution. Your work will involve utilizing your expertise in Technology, Financial Services, and Risk Management to build systems that support our Fixed Income and Equities desks. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Designing and implementing high-performance, scalable solutions for low-latency risk calculations.
• Collaborating directly with risk managers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Contributing to the maintenance and support of our risk systems, including participation in end-of-day support cycles.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong academic background in Computer Science or a related engineering field. We value candidates who have a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. You must be comfortable working with SQL and have practical experience in multi-threading and distributed computing. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in English is required, and while not mandatory, experience with Python, Java, and AWS is highly desirable. A passion for quantitative finance and a commitment to engineering best practices will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
