Retail Education & Training Specialist at ILIA, Inc.

We are seeking a highly creative and execution-focused Retail Education & Training Specialist to support end-to-end product education initiatives. This role is responsible for developing compelling training materials, delivering impactful education experiences, and supporting product launches across retail and internal teams.

This is a tactical, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly move between content creation, design, and education content strategy. 

This role is a part-time, temporary role.

Responsibilities

Product Launch Support

• Develop product launch presentation decks and training materials

• Create product one-pagers, sell sheets, and educational resources

• Design in-store educational tools and materials

• Build a cohesive product education ecosystem across channels

Content Creation

• Write scripts for educational video content

• Develop training materials for retail partners

• Create shade matching guides and application technique resources

• Author product knowledge documents, FAQs, and supporting content

Retailer-Specific Materials

• Customize training decks and materials by retailer

• Adapt content for regional and market-specific needs

• Develop retailer launch kits and supporting assets

• Build competitive positioning and comparison tools

Visual & Print Materials

• Design application cards and technique guides

• Create shade storytelling materials and merchandising tools

• Develop educational posters, counter cards, and print assets

• Build digital assets for e-learning platforms

Ongoing Support

• Update and maintain existing education materials

• Respond to retailer education needs and requests

• Develop seasonal and promotional training content

• Support field teams with tailored training resources

Certification Execution

• Create certification program content and learning modules

• Develop assessments, quizzes, and test questions

• Design certification certificates and digital badges

• Build training workshops and certification presentations

• Track completion and manage recertification processes

• 3–7+ years in product education, training, or retail education (beauty industry preferred)

• Strong writing and content development skills

• Experience creating training decks, guides, and educational materials

• Confident presenter with experience delivering live and virtual trainings

• Ability to translate complex product information into clear, engaging content

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
