As a Research Assistant and Clinical Training Coordinator, you will join our team to support critical research initiatives and clinical training programs. You will work alongside our leadership, including the Director of Research Operations and the Vice President of Research and Clinical Training, to ensure that our projects remain ethical, efficient, and aligned with our organizational mission.
Key outcomes
- Recruit study participants while strictly adhering to ethical standards and institutional protocols.
- Manage the informed consent process and ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Oversee study visit schedules and maintain accurate, organized research logs and files.
- Input data into designated systems and assist with financial documentation for participant reimbursements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between research teams and participants to ensure clear communication.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to integrate research procedures into daily operations.
- Coordinate clinical training sessions in partnership with health center management and security teams.
- Support the documentation needed for accreditation, compliance reporting, and new training partnerships.
- Report any protocol deviations or safety concerns to leadership immediately.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic data systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working within a diverse team.

Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in clinical research, healthcare, or counseling settings.
- Bilingual proficiency, with a preference for candidates who speak Spanish.
