What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Render Wrangler to join our team in Canada on a full-time, on-site basis. In this position, you will be the backbone of our render support operations, ensuring that our render farm cluster and associated software remain highly available around the clock. You will play a critical role in maintaining the technical flow that allows our artists to create stunning visual effects.

What will you do?

• Monitor and track render jobs and resource usage across all active projects to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Balance the competing resource needs of multiple shows against our physical infrastructure capacity.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate render errors while working closely with TDs to optimize rendering workflows.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid grasp of visual effects and computer graphics terminology. We are looking for someone with a strong command of the Linux operating system and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with our teams. It is also helpful if you have experience with industry-standard tools such as Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Arnold, or Renderman. Proficiency in Python or shell scripting is considered a significant asset.
