We are looking for a dedicated Regional Information Security Officer to join our team at Omnicom Content Studios. In this role, you will act as an embedded security and risk professional, working closely with our local teams and the broader Corporate Security function. Your primary mission will be to mature our security posture, ensuring that our business services remain protected through robust governance, policy implementation, and proactive risk management. You will report directly to the Omnicom Content Studios Business Information Security Officer while maintaining a dotted-line relationship with our Regional CIOs to support their strategic initiatives.
Key outcomes
- Build and nurture global relationships with business units to drive continuous improvement in our security programs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including IT, HR, and Finance, to identify, assess, and mitigate information risks.
- Manage security requirements for clients, including responding to audits, security questionnaires, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee the implementation of technical controls such as endpoint protection, encryption, SIEM, and cloud-based security solutions.
- Lead local cybersecurity awareness training and facilitate the documentation of business continuity plans.
- Provide expert support during security incidents and help develop strategies to prevent future risks.
- Stay current on emerging security trends, regulatory standards, and new technologies to keep our infrastructure secure.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in information security, IT audit, or a related technical field.
- Strong familiarity with industry standards and regulations like ISO27001, NIST, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, global environment.
- Solid understanding of network security, cloud-based SaaS solutions, and physical security controls.
- Proficiency in English.
- A commitment to obtaining or maintaining relevant information security certifications.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, business, or a related discipline.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Prior experience working within a content studio, digital marketing agency, or a similar technology-driven creative environment.
Compensation
The salary range for this full-time, on-site position is $120,000 to $170,000. Final compensation is determined based on your unique skills, experience, and the specific scope of the role. In addition to your salary, we provide life insurance to ensure you and your family have peace of mind.
