At Arc’teryx, we are driven by a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability. We are currently looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our People and Culture team. In this remote, full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our North American retail expansion by attracting top-tier talent for both hourly and salaried positions. You will work alongside a global team of recruiters, serving as a key partner to our leadership to ensure we build high-performing teams that reflect our values and our dedication to excellence.
Key outcomes
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for our North American retail stores, ensuring our hiring strategies align with our broader organizational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, including sourcing, interviewing, and assessing competencies to provide high-quality hiring recommendations.
- Partner with store managers to educate them on recruitment best practices, fostering unbiased and effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with our Talent Systems Specialist to develop data-driven strategies that address the specific needs of our retail markets.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows within our applicant tracking system, Lever.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Contribute to long-term talent acquisition initiatives, including building candidate pipelines and enhancing our employer branding.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in recruitment, specifically within retail or high-volume environments.
- Proven ability to develop and execute customized, autonomous recruitment strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset and the ability to build meaningful relationships across the organization.
- Excellent command of the English language, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high degree of flexibility when navigating ambiguous situations.
- A genuine passion for the outdoors and sustainability, aligning with our core organizational values.
