At Arc’teryx, we are driven by a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability. We are currently looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our People and Culture team. In this remote role, you will be a vital partner to our North American retail stores, helping us attract and acquire top-tier talent while refining our recruitment processes. You will work under the guidance of our Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, collaborating with a global team of recruiters dedicated to maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
Key outcomes
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for our North American retail locations, ensuring our hiring aligns with our broader organizational talent strategy.
- Source, interview, and evaluate candidates based on their skills and competencies to provide informed hiring recommendations to leadership.
- Educate store managers on our recruitment procedures to ensure hiring decisions remain fair, clear, and unbiased.
- Develop data-driven recruitment strategies in partnership with our Talent Systems Specialist to address the specific needs of our retail markets.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and manage postings within our applicant tracking system, Lever.
- Advocate for transparency throughout the hiring process to ensure every candidate receives high-quality communication and feedback.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Contribute to long-term talent initiatives, including employer branding and the development of proactive sourcing pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional recruitment experience, specifically within retail or high-volume environments.
- Proven ability to create and execute customized recruitment strategies with a high degree of autonomy.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong proficiency in the English language, including clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities, with a talent for managing confidential information sensitively.
- A proactive mindset toward problem-solving, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility and adaptability when navigating ambiguous situations or changing business needs.
- A genuine passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability.
