React Native Engineer at Privy

The opportunity

In this full-time role, you will take on significant ownership of our product, design, and infrastructure. Because we focus on developer tooling, your work will sit at the intersection of engineering and product design. We value simplicity, rapid iteration, and the ability to turn complicated concepts into delightful user experiences. You will be a key player in our efforts to ship products that users truly love, ensuring that our interfaces remain coherent and user-friendly as we grow.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement end-to-end product features that are directly driven by the needs of our users.
• You will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to translate complex systems into intuitive interfaces.
• You will architect entirely new SDK features while simultaneously upgrading our existing tooling to maintain high standards of quality.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer who understands the nuances of React Native and Expo. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining production systems at scale, and you know how to advocate for usability and interface coherence. You are comfortable working in an environment where design and engineering go hand in hand, and you have a knack for writing clear, helpful documentation. Proficiency in English is required for this role. If you have experience with open-source projects, a history of publishing your work, or a background in web3, security, or authentication, we would love to hear about it.
