As an R&D Technician, you will join our fast-paced startup environment to build the prototypes and test stands that serve as the foundation for our innovative hydrogen production technology. Your hands-on contributions will directly influence the development and scaling of our mission to reach zero emissions.
What you'll be doing
- You will assemble electrolyzer stack prototypes while maintaining high standards for precision and quality.
- You will construct and maintain test stand hardware, which includes managing mechanical piping, instrumentation wiring, and electrical harnessing.
- You will fabricate mechanical structures for our large-scale prototypes, including the pilot electrolyzer system and the balance of plant.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate, along with at least two years of experience in hardware assembly, testing, or maintenance. We are looking for someone who speaks fluent English and demonstrates the following qualifications:
- A solid understanding of how mechanical and electrical systems integrate.
- Practical experience with mechanical piping, instrumentation wiring, and electrical wiring.
- The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and various test instruments.
- Experience working safely with high-pressure fluid and gas systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine enthusiasm for hands-on R&D work.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with our engineering team.
