As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at our headquarters in Henderson, Nevada.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Mid-Level R&D Technician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will play a vital role in advancing our engineering projects by providing hands-on support, testing, and prototyping for our current and future product lines. This position follows a weekday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to design systems, draft technical documentation, and create electrical schematics.
- Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting on electrical components to identify issues, resolve problems, and ensure optimal functionality.
- Handle the installation and maintenance of equipment, including fabricating parts for prototypes, performing soldering and crimping, and assembling cables according to engineering specifications.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in industrial equipment assembly and a high school diploma, though an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, along with hands-on experience using testing tools like oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- The physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds, operate an industrial forklift, and adhere to all safety and PPE standards.
- Fluency in English and the legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
