Imagine working in an environment where your code directly powers live trading systems and shapes the future of financial research. We are a research-driven firm dedicated to building the next generation of trading technology, and we are looking for a Quantitative Technologist to join our team in the United States. We operate at the intersection of high-performance software and complex data, using modern C++ to process petabytes of information and evolve our fully-automated strategies. Our culture is built on the belief that we are stronger together, and we invite you to take ownership of significant projects that drive real value from your very first day.
The opportunity
In this full-time, on-site role, you will be a key contributor to our research infrastructure and alpha generation processes. You will not just be writing code, but actively identifying inefficiencies and proposing creative technical solutions. We offer a unique environment where you can balance structured starter projects with the freedom to explore independent initiatives. You will work alongside a team that values a hacker’s mindset, focusing on high-impact results and the continuous evolution of our production-level systems.
A day in the life
- Develop and refine high-performance trading systems and machine learning research infrastructure using modern C++.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze massive datasets, ensuring our software architecture remains robust and scalable.
- Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from proposing new iterations to deploying production-ready tools that enhance our trading strategies.
Who you are
You are a senior-level professional with a persistent drive to improve and a passion for solving complex problems. You communicate effectively in English and possess a deep understanding of the following areas:
- Expertise in low-level languages, specifically C++, with a strong grasp of language nuances.
- A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and numerical computation.
- Experience with systems architecture, including distributed systems and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in software architecture, particularly when managing large, complex code bases.
- A team-oriented mindset, combined with the mental flexibility to adapt based on new data and feedback.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in rewarding excellence and the collective success of our firm. You will receive a competitive salary, complemented by a quarterly bonus structure that recognizes both your individual performance and your contributions to the success of your colleagues. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where your technical skills will be challenged and your impact will be felt across the entire organization.
