What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will be at the forefront of designing foundational technology that does not exist yet, directly influencing how value moves through the Solana ecosystem. You will spend about 25 percent of your time designing algorithms and 75 percent of your time implementing and testing them to ensure our systems are fast, scalable, and resilient.
What will you do?
- Design and implement high-performance algorithms to solve complex optimization problems within our distributed systems.
- Build and refine quantitative models for real-time analysis, risk evaluation, and inefficiency minimization in high-volatility environments.
- Develop robust testing frameworks and evaluate system performance through benchmarking and data-driven iterations to ensure our solutions handle high-volume traffic under network stress.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, or quantitative finance. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in quantitative engineering, algorithmic optimization, or high-frequency systems.
- Proficiency in Rust, C++, or Python with a specific focus on writing performant code.
- Deep expertise in optimization, graph algorithms, and distributed systems.
- A solid understanding of market microstructure and a genuine passion for blockchain technology.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you take full ownership of your technical decisions.
- Fluency in English.
Bonus points if you have experience with Solana, knowledge of consensus mechanisms, or a history of contributing to open-source projects.
