B2C2 is a digital asset pioneer that has successfully unlocked institutional access to the cryptocurrency market. Since our founding in 2015, we have established ourselves as a partner of choice for institutions globally by providing reliable liquidity through our crypto-native technology. Now part of the SBI Group, we operate as a standalone company with a presence in the UK, US, and Japan. We are a values-driven organization that prioritizes a meritocratic and collegiate culture, and we are looking for talented individuals to help us build the ecosystem of the future.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Quant Analyst/Developer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role based in the UK, where you will work alongside traders, quants, and fellow experts to support our sophisticated trading infrastructure. We need someone who can navigate the complexities of digital assets and contribute to our ongoing product innovation.
What will you do?
- Develop advanced analytics to provide actionable insights and transparency for our management, trading, and quantitative teams.
- Build and maintain robust data ingestion processes to handle large volumes of information from both internal trading systems and external market sources.
- Design and implement complex event processing systems to monitor for data anomalies and generate real-time trading signals.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least four years of commercial experience in KDB+ development. We value a clean, efficient coding style and a self-starting attitude. You should be comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency in the following areas is essential:
- KDB+/q development.
- Linux and bash scripting.
- Working with Level 1 and 2 market data.
- Big data management, analysis, and visualization.
- Continuous integration practices.
While not required, experience with Python, Java, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based KDB+ deployment is considered a significant advantage. A strong command of the English language is necessary for this position.
What's in it for you?
We offer a dynamic, meritocratic environment where your contributions are recognized and rewarded. Our benefits package includes:
- Hybrid working and flexible working arrangements.
- Performance reviews with a discretionary cash bonus paid every six months.
- 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
- Private Medical Insurance.
- Group Personal Pension scheme with employer matching contributions.
- Group Income Protection.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
