Quality Engineer/Auditor at SQA Services

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Quality Engineer and Auditor. In this position, you will act as our on-site representative, providing critical Supplier Quality Development services to ensure that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

What you bring

As a senior member of our team, you will be based on-site in Austria, where you will apply your extensive background in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to drive product excellence. You will leverage your expertise in Six Sigma, Statistics, and Data Analysis to solve complex problems and improve our manufacturing methods. Your daily contributions will be essential to our success, and your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual and on-site assessments of supplier quality management systems and product quality against our specific requirements and standards.
• Performing technical activities such as troubleshooting, failure analysis, 8D problem-solving, and root cause corrective actions.
• Collaborating with suppliers to map process points, analyze failure modes, and ensure that our inspection plans effectively cover all critical areas.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who brings at least 8 years of industry experience and holds an engineering degree or equivalent professional background. You should possess a deep understanding of quality assurance tools, including RCCA, Failure Analysis, and 8D methodologies. Proficiency in English is required for this role. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who excels at data-driven decision-making and is comfortable navigating complex manufacturing environments. You should be capable of managing documentation, conducting personnel interviews, and validating that inspection equipment and methodologies are fully capable of detecting defects.
