The role
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will be instrumental in elevating the reliability and quality of our software applications by leading functional testing efforts and advancing our automation capabilities. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a high level of analytical rigor to every project.
Core responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms using frameworks such as Appium.
- Execute comprehensive test suites to validate software functionality, usability, and reliability, while providing detailed reports and actionable insights to our stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with team members to manage and expand our testing suites, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in functional testing and a minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in automation engineering.
- Proficiency with mobile automation frameworks, specifically Appium, as well as experience with BrowserStack, Jenkins, and AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous eye for detail when verifying application behavior.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, allowing you to effectively share feedback and updates with project teams and clients.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring consistency and shared ownership of automation assets.
