Our team is a globally distributed group of experts who specialize in MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our MySQL team. What you'll be doing
- You will manage the release lifecycle by coordinating and testing software in collaboration with our engineering teams.
- You will analyze and report defects found in our automated testing frameworks while defining new test cases to scale our infrastructure.
- You will monitor and troubleshoot failures within our automated performance, regression, and packaging systems using languages like Python or Shell scripting.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Strong Linux system administration skills and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
- Proven experience in test automation and debugging, with the ability to analyze logs and identify patterns effectively.
- Familiarity with development tracking tools like Jira, Notion, and Git.
- A solid understanding of networking, hardware, and file systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and the ability to work well within a distributed team.
- While not required, experience with database technologies, containerization, or C/C++ coding will make your application stand out.
