Quality & Delivery Manager at Shippit

Responsibilities

• Lead our engineering squads in developing and executing a comprehensive quality strategy that balances development velocity with software confidence.
• Coordinate across multiple engineering teams to improve our software development lifecycle and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Partner with logistics teams, carriers, and eCommerce platforms to simplify operations and scale our technology effectively.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned leader who brings a wealth of experience to our engineering department. You should possess the following qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in influencing and leading engineering teams as a senior expert or manager.
• Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to conduct code reviews in Ruby, TypeScript, and Go, along with familiarity in AWS and GCP.
• Deep expertise in Agile methodologies, such as Kanban and Scrumban, and a proven track record of implementing quality assurance frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• A self-driven problem-solving mindset with a passion for building systems and policies that increase team productivity.
