What is this role?

We are looking for a Quality & Delivery Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based in Australia, operating in a hybrid work environment. You will play a critical role in overseeing our software delivery lifecycle, working closely with our CTO and engineering managers to refine our development processes, manage team capacity, and ensure we continue to deliver high-quality outcomes at scale.

What will you do?

• Lead Quality Strategy: Guide our engineering squads in developing and executing a balanced quality strategy that prioritizes both confidence and velocity, including the implementation of robust testing frameworks.
• Optimize Delivery Processes: Review and improve our software development lifecycle, acting as a key point of contact for scaling changes and helping squads achieve consistent, high-impact delivery outcomes.
• Drive Collaboration and Visibility: Foster strong relationships across engineering and business functions, providing clear reporting to executives and ensuring that our delivery efforts are well-understood and supported across the organization.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a seasoned leader with over 7 years of experience in influencing and guiding engineering teams. You possess a strong technical background and are comfortable reviewing code in languages such as Ruby, TypeScript, and Go, alongside experience with AWS and GCP. You are an expert in agile methodologies and have a proven track record of solving complex problems while introducing policies that boost team productivity. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as you will be managing relationships with stakeholders and executive leadership. While not required, experience in the logistics industry is highly valued.
