The role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Platform Configuration Ops team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone with up to four years of experience who is eager to contribute to our Agile development process. You will play a vital role in maintaining platform stability and ensuring our clients receive high-quality, seamless service.

Core responsibilities

• Design and execute both manual and automated test plans for our SaaS platform to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum Managers and developers to define testing strategies, track defects in Jira, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning while continuously refining our QA processes to align with industry best practices.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. We value technical proficiency and a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.

• Hands-on experience with QA tools such as SoapUI, Jira, Zephyr, Postman, Cucumber, RestAPI, and GraphQL.
• Strong familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and scripting languages such as JavaScript.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools like GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Compensation and benefits
